Louis Grandelli
Attorney

Mr. Grandelli is an attorney specializing in litigation and has handled numerous catastrophic personal injury and wrongful death cases resulting fi·om construction accidents, motor vehicle accidents, and incidents due to negligently maintained premises. Prior to his admission to the Bar, Mr. Grandelli worked as a research assistant for Professor Richard T. Farrell and assisted in the research and drafting of Prince, Richardson on Evidence, 11th edition, the pre-eminent treatise on evidence in New York State.

Mr. Grandelli was admitted to the New York State Bar in 1991. He is also admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court, Southern and Eastern Districts of New York. Mr. Grandelli graduated from St. John's University (B.A., 1986) and then from Brooklyn Law School (lD.,1990). He is a charter member of the New York State Academy of Trial Lawyers and also a long standing member of the New York State Trial Lawyers, Brooklyn Bar Association and the American Association for Justice.

 

John J. Rapawy
Attorney

Mr. Rapawy is an attorney specializing in litigation and has extensive experience in personal injury trial work involving construction accidents, motor vehicle accidents and accidents due to negligently maintained premises. Furthermore, Mr. Rapawy has expertise in defending criminal cases in both the state and federal courts. In 1997, Mr. Rapawy began his career as a trial lawyer as an Assistant District Attorney in Kings County. As an Assistant District Attorney for over five years, Mr. Rapawy obtained investigative and trial experience working on the prosecution of major narcotics organizations, violent street gangs and violent sex offenders.

Mr. Rapawy was admitted to the New York State Bar in 1998. He is also admitted to practice in the Federal Court. Mr. Rapawy graduated from Fordham University with a B.S. in Accounting and holds a J.D. from Brooklyn Law School.

Mr. Rapawy is a member of the New York State Bar Association, Richmond County Bar Association and The Kings County Criminal Bar Association.

 

Leigh D. Eskenasi
Attorney

Mr. Eskenasi has been an associate with the firm for four years. He specializes in litigation and has extensive experience in construction accidents, motor vehicle accidents, slip and fall accidents, and premises liability actions. Mr. Eskenasi has expertise in all levels of litigation, including trials and appellate advocacy.

Mr. Eskenasi is admitted to the bar in New York and Connecticut, as well as to the United States District Court in the Eastern District of New York and the Southern District of New York. Mr. Eskenasi graduated from Binghamton University in 2002 with a B.S. in Psychobiology and holds a J.D. from th University of Wisconsin-Madison Law School, where he was a LEO fellow. While in law school, Mr. Eskenasi worked for the Wisconsin Supreme Court, under Justice David T. Prosser, Jr.

Mr. Eskenasi is a member of the New York County Lawyers Association and the New York State Bar Association.

 

Ari R Lieberman
Attorney

Mr. Lieberman recently joined the firm. He graduated from Binghamton University in 2006 with a B.A. in English, and was a member of the Binghamton Scholars Program. Mr. Lieberman holds a J.D. from Hofstra University School of Law where he graduated Magna Cum Laude, in the top 2.5% of his class. While at Hofstra University, Mr. Lieberman was a Notes and Comments Editor of the Hofstra Labor & Employment Law Journal, and has published an article in that field. Mr. Lieberman has experience in personal injury and medical malpractice law.
